Gosainkunda Trek or Langtang valley Trek is located 30 km in the north of kathmandu valley. It falls in between Dhunche-Helembu Trek. In between the trekkers have to face a quite challenging Lauri Binayak Pass. Gosainkunda lake is one of the Hindu and Buddhist holiest lake of Nepal, situated in 4300m. Every year in the month of August thousands of pilgrimage from Nepal and India come to this lake for Ganga Dashahara and the Janai Purnima festivals. It is easy, short trail and high altitude trek where you can see Mt.Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Himal Chuli, Mt.Manaslu. If you are lucky and the day is clear them you will probably see the the most attractive and popular Annapurna Massif Range. On the way to Gosaikunda Lake, you will came across the Rhododendron, Oak Forest and Glacier Debris. You can enjoy the pure yak cheese also.Nothing can please your heart than sitting in the holiest lake of the World and watching the sceneric beauty of langtang national park and Dorje lakpa mountain.
