Astrek Climbing
If you not ready or need some practice to climbing natural cliffs them astrek climbing is best for you. It is located in most tourist place of Kathmandu, thamel which 400 for climbing and extra 100 each for harness and shoes. There are bouldering walls and taller walls for beginners to experts. Similarly, they have super experienced rock climber to assist you to climb walls and provide a best tips to reach the top of wall.
Nagarjun Forest Reserve Site
It is just a half an hour drive from thamel, which lies in the Northwest of Kathmandu valley.This forest reserve site is suitable for beginners to exerts. Apart from climbing you can watch 318 species of birds.
Pharphing also called hattiban climbing site
It take an hour drive from balkhu to reach dollu bus stop. And further take less than half hour foot hill walk to reach the climbing spot. It is also perfect for novice to professional climbers. As it is quite challenging than other rock climbing site, it will be better if we take a help from local climbers who knows all about site.
Bimal Nagar Site
This site is situated at the outskirts of Kathmandu and pokhara which is 5 hours drive from Kathmandu. Suitable for all types of climbers, this climbing spot is also popular for watching snowcapped Mt. Manaslu and myarsyandi river.
