Details Itinerary

Day 01:Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m). Overnight at a Hotel. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be picked by a representative from Jatra Travels. Once you arrive at your hotel, you will have some time to settle in and relax after your journey. Kathmandu is a vibrant city with a rich history and culture. You may choose to spend your day exploring the nearby streets and markets, or you can relax and enjoy the amenities of your hotel.

Day 02: Museum Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at a Hotel. After breakfast at your hotel, Your tour guide will be at your hotel lobby and  start your museum sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. You will visit the Nepal National Museum, which is located in Chauni, Kathmandu. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts that showcase Nepal’s history, art, and culture. The collection includes rare sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, and historical documents.

Day 03 : Museum Sightseeing in Patan and Over night at Kathmandu. After breakfast at your hotel, Your tour guide and you will continue your museum sightseeing tour, this time focusing on the city of Patan.

You will visit the Patan Museum, which is housed in a beautifully restored palace in the heart of Patan Durbar Square. The museum’s collection includes bronze statues, wood carvings, and ancient scriptures, providing insight into the traditional art and architecture of the Kathmandu Valley.

After the museum visit, you will have the opportunity to explore Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to many beautiful temples, palaces, and courtyards. You can observe the intricate wood and stone carvings that decorate the buildings and take in the unique atmosphere of this ancient city.

In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Kathmandu for overnight stay. You may choose to explore the local markets and restaurants or relax and unwind at your hotel.

Day 04 : Museum Sighseeing in Bhaktapur and over night in Kathmandu. After breakfast at your hotel, Your tour guide and you will continue your museum tour at  Bhaktapur, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, for your museum sightseeing tour.

Your first stop will be the National Art Gallery, located in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The gallery houses a collection of traditional Nepalese art, including thangkas, mandalas, and sculptures, providing an insight into the cultural and artistic traditions of the region. You will also have the opportunity to see contemporary art by Nepalese artists.

Next, you will visit the Natural History Museum, which is located in the heart of Kathmandu. The museum has a collection of preserved specimens of various flora and fauna found in Nepal, as well as fossils, minerals, and rocks.

After the museum visit, you will have some free time to explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Nepal. You can marvel at the intricately carved temples and buildings and wander through the narrow streets lined with pottery shops and local handicrafts.

In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Kathmandu for overnight stay. You may choose to relax and enjoy the amenities of your hotel or explore the local markets and restaurants.

Day 05:Transfer to the International Airport for your final departure. After breakfast at your hotel, Jatra Travels will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
