Bhutan Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu to Paro (Flight) to Hotel
Time: 3 to 4 hours
Your journey kicks off with a transfer from your respective hotels to the International Airport in Kathmandu, where you’ll catch a flight via Druk Air to Paro. If the weather is clear, you’ll be treated to captivating glimpses of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, during the flight. Upon landing at Paro’s compact airstrips, you’ll be warmly received by a Bhutanese Tour Guide and transported to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival and room availability, you’ll have the chance to explore Rinpung Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang.
Day 2: Morning Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery & to Thimpu (Drive)
Time: 5 to 6 hours
Embark on an early morning hike to the legendary Tiger Nest Monastery, navigating through a thrilling and mystical environment. According to local legends, Guru Rinpoche flew from Tibet to Bhutan on the back of a tiger, where he spent three months in meditation. The monastery’s history originates from a cave where Guru Rinpoche meditated, and it was later expanded into the magnificent structure it is today. For locals, this site is a place of pilgrimage, while for travelers like you, it stands as a mysterious historical marvel. Despite a fire that ravaged the main building in April 1988, the hike up to the monastery is a truly worthwhile experience.

Time: 5 to 6 hours
As your departure from Paro approaches, you’ll be transferred back to Paro from Thimpu. Subsequently, you’ll board a flight via Druk Air from Paro to Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted upon arrival at the terminal.
