Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your check-in process. They will also arrange a private transfer to your hotel. Once you’ve settled in, you can either relax at the hotel to recover from your journey or go out to explore some of Kathmandu’s (1400m) captivating attractions. Later, you’ll attend an overnight trek briefing where you’ll meet your guide, receive any necessary equipment, and get detailed information about the Annapurna Base Camp Trek itinerary.

  2. Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

    Your trek to Annapurna Base Camp begins with an early morning breakfast, followed by a 7 to 8-hour tourist bus ride to Pokhara (822m) from Kathmandu. Along the way, you’ll pass by the scenic Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers, surrounded by green hills and mountains. If you want to skip bus ride, we can arrange a 25-minute flight to Pokhara.

  3. Day 3 Drive from Pokhara to Birethanti

    After enjoying a tasty breakfast in Pokhara, you will take a short and scenic drive to Birethanti (1263m). From there, your Annapurna Base Camp Trek will begin, passing through Nayapul on an easy trail. As you walk along the Bhurungdi Khola, you will cross beautiful terraced fields. The trek starts in Birethanti and ends in Ulleri (1960m), taking you through charming villages like Sudame, Hile, and Tikhedhunga. After crossing a suspension bridge, the path from Tikhedhunga becomes steeper, leading up a long stone stairway. This trek takes up to 5-6 hours. Once you reach Ulleri, a large Magar village, you will be welcomed with stunning views of Mount Himchuli and Mount Annapurna at south direction. You will forget all the tiredness after the stunning view of the mountains.

  4. Day 4 Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani

    As you trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2880m), the trail (4-5 hours of trek) gently climbs, offering a fascinating and scenic journey. Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by views of peaks like AnnapurnaMachhapuchre, and Himchuli. Walking through the rhododendron forests, you’ll discover cool springs, rivers, and a variety of natural wildlife. The route leads to Ghorepani, a beautiful hillside village known for its stunningHimalayanviews,including DhaulagiriTukucheDhampusNilgiriAnnapurnaBarah Sikhar, and Machhapuchhre. A popular activity here is the Poonhill trek, which provides a breathtaking sunrise and a panoramic view of the mountain ranges. Then a guesthouse will be provided at the site for rest and enjoyment.

  5. Day 5 Excursion to Poon Hill and back to Tadapani

    You will begin your day with an early morning climb to Poon Hill (3210m) to witness the sunrise over the Himalayan mountain range. From the top of Poon Hill, you will be able to see the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, along with the Nilgiri and Machhapuchhre Mountains. After spending some time with the views, you will go back to your lodge for breakfast. Then, you will continue your Annapurna Base Camp Trek, following the steep path up to Deurali. On your way from Deurali to Banthani, you’ll walk through a forest path where you may spot monkeys on the way. Continuing downhill while enjoying the stunning surroundings, you will eventually reach Tadapani. It is the trek of 4-5 hours. After having local dinner you will spent the night.

  6. Day 6 Tadapani to Chomrong

    After breakfast in Tadapani, your ABC Trek will take you to Chomrong (2165m). It is 4-5 hours trek. The trail leads you downhill through rhododendron forests, and you'll cross the Kimrong River before making your way up to the Gurung village of Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, you'll climb steadily to reach Chomrong, enjoying amazing views of Annapurna South and Fishtail along the way.

    Ghandruk. You will be treated to breathtaking vistas of Annapurna South and Fishtail along the route. Chomrong hamlet, which is a popular destination for hikers trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, is located on the flank of the enormous Annapurna Mountain. As you settle into your lodgings, you'll encounter a lot of welcoming Gurung residents in Chomrong, a vast hillside community. You will be staying at a local teahouse or hiking lodge.

  7. Day 7 Chomrong to Dovan

    Your trek Annapurna Trekking Journey continues with a longer trek today. After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Chomrong, you’ll head down a stone staircase to Chomrong Khola. From there, you’ll cross a suspension bridge and climb through terraced fields and green hills to reach Sinuwa, a small village on a ridge. Sinuwa offers incredible close-up views of Machhapuchhre and a picturesque landscape. After a few hours of trekking from Sinuwa, you’ll arrive at Khuldighar. From Khuldighar, you’ll descend a stone staircase into a dense forest of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak trees near the Modi River, leading you to the village of Bamboo. The trail then follows the Modi Khola through the cool, shaded forest on a gradual climb until you reach Dovan (2600m).

  8. Day 8 Dovan to Deurali

    Today, you'll start your walk in Dovan and end in Deurali (3230m). The trail 4-5 hours takes you through rhododendron and bamboo forests, with waterfalls along the way. As you reach Himalaya, the forest opens up, offering beautiful views of the glacier river. You’ll walk down the Modi Khola through a small gorge before heading up steeply through a drier forest towards Hinku Cave.

    From there, the trail descends and then climbs again, leading to Deurali. This section is the most scenic, with fewer trees, so you can enjoy views of the valley, the river below, and the tall granite cliffs with waterfalls flowing down. Deurali is a perfect place to relax for the night.

  9. Day 9 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

    After a tough climb from Deurali, you will reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where the Annapurna Base Camp Trek trail will take you through a riverbed. At Machhapuchhre Base Camp, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of nearby peaks, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Himchuli, and others. From here, continue heading northwest to reach Annapurna Base Camp.

    The path to ABC is wider, with less vegetation, and it is more exposed to avalanches, so caution is important. From ABC, you’ll get incredible views of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhre. The breathtaking sight of the snow-covered mountains surrounding you will make this day an unforgettable experience. You will spend the night at Annapurna Base Camp (4130m).

  10. Day 10 Annapurna Base Camp To Sinuwa

    After watching a stunning sunrise from ABC, you’ll leave your mark on the Annapurna Sanctuary and begin your descent to Sinuwa (2360m). To return to Sinuwa, you'll follow the same trail through MBC, Deurali, Himalaya, Bamboo, and Khuldighar. As you make your way back, you’ll notice the path looks different in reverse, with peaceful villages, alpine valleys, and lush forests along the way. The descent from the high altitude of Base Camp will also make the terrain a bit easier to navigate. Once you reach Sinuwa, you'll check into a comfortable trekking lodge. You can spend the afternoon and evening as you wish, relaxing and enjoying your surroundings.

  11. Day 11 Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda

    Today, your Annapurna Base Camp Trek will begin in Sinuwa, pass through Chomrong, and end at Jhinu Danda (1780m), (4-5 hours). The trail will take you downhill to Kimrong Khola before ascending through peaceful forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and oak, eventually reaching Jhinu Danda.

    Each year, many trekkers visit Jhinu Danda, where you can unwind in the area’s soothing natural hot springs. The hot springs are a 30-minute steep walk from the guesthouse. From the springs, you can enjoy views of the rhododendron forest and lush greenery. You will spend the night at the guesthouse in Jhinu Danda.

  12. Day 12 Jhinu Danda to Pokhara

    The final day of your 14-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek has arrived. After leaving Jhinu Danda, you’ll take the easy dirt road that follows the Modi Khola. This is the most relaxing stretch of the entire trek. After about three hours of walking, you’ll reach Siwai (1530m). From there, you'll catch a local taxi or bus to take you back to Pokhara, which takes about two to three hours.

    As you leave the trekking trails behind, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you'll have time to check into your accommodation. To celebrate the completion of your trek, you can stroll around town, enjoy a boat ride on Fewa Lake, and treat yourself to a delicious lunch. You’ll spend the night in Pokhara.

  13. Day 13 Pokhara to Kathmandu

    After waking up in Pokhara, you will board a tourist bus this morning for your journey back to Kathmandu. The 205 kilometers from Pokhara to Kathmandu follow the scenic Marsyangdi River, then the Trishuli River. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming market towns such as Damauli Bazaar, Dumre Bazaar, and Mugling Bazaar. The route offers stunning views of hills, rivers, and snow-capped mountains.

    Upon reaching the Kathmandu Valley, a member of our team will be there to greet you and take you to your accommodation. You’ll have time to freshen up before enjoying your last evening in Nepal, whether you choose to shop or explore the lively streets of Thamel. This marks the successful end of your Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

  14. Day 14 Departure
