All about the Seti River Rafting

Seti River Rafting is popular because of it safety and normal temperature. It is for novice Kayaker and safest place to raft for the first time rafters. (It doesn’t mean other rivers are unsafe and dangerous.) It is also suitable for the family as well, as it covers only 35 km of distance. Seti river is very peaceful, gentle and contains very small rapids. If you want to avoid cold water rafting experience then, best time for rafting in Seti River is October to December and March to June. As your trip starts from the Damauli and ends at the Gaighat of the Chitwan National Park, throughout the rafting, you will be able to see the local village, settlements, landscapes, terrace farming and so on. Damauli is an Hour drive from Pokhara and 5 hrs drive from Kathmandu. Your point ends at Chitwan you can spend a day over there as well.

Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Drive from Kathmandu

    Start your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu (150km) or Pokhara (50km) to Damauli.

    • Depart from Damauli: Begin your Seti River rafting adventure with a departure from Damauli, the starting point for the rafting expedition.
    • Rafting Instruction and Adventure: Upon arrival at the river put-in point, meet your experienced rafting guides who will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and instructions. Board the raft and start your thrilling journey on the Seti River, navigating through a combination of calm stretches and exciting Class II to III rapids.
